You will learn what essential nutrients are, what the glycemic index is, what the good and bad fats are, what the good and bad carbohydrates are, what supplements can safely help you with your fat loss, and how you can graduate from a safe and effective nutritional weight loss plan to a healthy way of eating you can maintain for the rest of your life. Diets alone are a temporary solution to weight management. Unless of course you are committed to eating pre-packaged foods and or counting calories and/or grams of carbohydrates for the rest of your life. The Exercise Program Individualized, progressive, and supervised - no matter what your background, we will tailor a conditioning program that not only facilitates your weight loss, but bestows on you the added health benefits and wellness that accompanies an active lifestyle. And as with nutrition, you will learn exercise science. By the time your done, you will have the confidence to structure and continue your own conditioning programs independently. Typical clients train 3-4 days per week and do a combination of aerobic conditioning (cardio) and resistance training. How Real-U Works
Real-U Weight Loss begins with your initial assessment and consultation. Here, we will assess and evaluate your percent body fat, hip-waist ratio, and BMI. This is followed by a review of your medical history and a discussion of your long and short term goals and what you can expect from the Real-U Weight Loss program in terms of both exercise program and nutritional plan.Following your consultation and assessment, you will begin your nutritional plan and exercise regime. Your first week will be comprised of 3-4 one on one training sessions with an exercise physiologist. Your trainer will orient you to your individualized conditioning program and begin your fitness education. Your second week will be comprised of 1-2 one on one conditioning sessions and 1-2 independent conditioning sessions. Thereafter, you will continue independently 2-3 days per week and have 1 one on one conditioning session with your exercise physiologist, who will assess your body composition, progress you exercise regime, and keep you on track toward your ultimate goal. Okay, How Much? Real-U Weight Loss costs are listed in the table below. Your Spartacus gym membership is an additional charge, which is currently $28.00 per month.
